Lamborghini Aventador SV is writing history!...

On the occasion of introducing the Lamborghini Aventador SV in the market of Greece, Trident Cars, the official importer of Lamborghini cars in the Greek market, organized a unique social event in the firm' s new showroom in Kifissia, Athens.

The event was staged on Friday December 4, 2015 and appealed to an exclusive audience of car fans and beautiful ladies. More than one hundred guests had the chance to see and touch Lamborghini' s new beast, the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce. As the model name implies, the Aventador SV boasts of 750 CV @ 8,400 RPM thanks to a 6,498 cc V12 Euro-6 engine. The torque is massive at 690 Nm @ 5,500 RPM, propelling the car to a 2,8" sprint from 0-100 km/h and a top speed in excess of 350 km/h.

The Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce uses a carbon fiber monocoque construction with aluminum front and rear frames. The body is made of exotic lightweight materials such as the carbon fiber engine bonnet, rear spoiler and side air inlets. The front bonnet, front fenders and doors are made of aluminum, reducing the car' s weight to only 1,525 kg and keeping the power-to-weight ratio to as low as 2,03 kg/CV.

The enormous carbo-ceramic discs have a diameter of 400 mm at the front and 380 mm at the rear, enabling the car to brake from 100-0 km/h within only 30 meters! The LP 750-4 Superveloce sits low at a total height of only 1,136 mm and maintains a near-perfect front-rear weight distribution of 43%-57%.

100 years of Maserati

On Sunday December 14, 2014 a unique celebration of Maserati's hundredth anniversary took place at the Hellenic Motor Museum in Athens.

The fans of Maserati cars had the chance to admire a rather rare sight -an interesting collection of Maserati's historic models like the 3500 GT, the Merak, the SM and the Khamsin, just to name a few...

The Chairman of HMM, Theodore Charagionis, opened the ceremony and highlighted the most important points in the history of the marque, explaining how the vision of the Maserati Brothers kept the company alive for more than a century.

Next came the speech of George Lymberakis, Managing Director of Trident Cars, the official Maserati importer in Greece. Mr. Lymberakis portrayed the qualities of Maserati cars and explained how the company's heritage nicely blends with modern Maserati models.

The event turned out to be a memorable evening meeting as the magical atmosphere of the Hellenic Motor Museum added to the pervasive Maserati aroma.

Auto Business Review was there and captured the magic of the moment...
